The La Crosse DJ Collective: We see an accessible world where disability is viewed as a natural way of being. We see a world where disabled people can be supported and celebrated through interdependence and disability culture. A world where people are valued for who they are and not what they can or cannot produce.

This unique virtual leadership series is designed to increase educators' capacity for co-creating belonging in all learning spaces. The Educational Equity Leadership Institutes support inclusive learning for authentic self-reflection and engagement while exploring the application of "difficult conversations" about race, equity, inclusion, and systemic oppression. Participants are challenged to understand the dynamics of race and racism in education and other forms of exclusion/oppression and transform their educational practices.

Cia Siab Rice Pantry Seeking Volunteers
Friday, June 9, 9 am - 2 pm, La Crosse
Cia Siab Inc. will host its upcoming Rice Pantry event Rice Pantry (Fib Txhuv), and is putting out a Call for Volunteers. The event takes place at the Hmoob Cultural and Community Center at 1815 Ward Ave. We are currently seeking 15 dedicated volunteers for this event.

The Enduring Families Project at La Crosse Community Theatre

The Enduring Families Project is a theatre project which brings to life the stories of 19th Century African Americans that lived in La Crosse and its surrounding area: a presidential candidate, a politically active farmer, a vaudeville muscician, a woman boarding house owner, several barbers, including one woman who owned her own barbershop. These stories, told through reenactments, run the gamut of life experiences in 19th Century La Crosse.
